GCE OL 2008 Batch finished their 11 years of schooling looking for the final examination.They organized
the final day concert and all of them left very sadly.2008 batch launched The web site for the school and
currently they are the monitors of evillage web site.

By the time now every one of the evillage team has a web page. We are very much grateful to them.And we wish all the best for their GCE OL examination 2008.Given bellow are some Pages of the 2008 OL

Final day fo the schooling for year 2008 was a big occasion for the students. Students progress reports and other certificates were awarded here in this day. Provincial software competition certificates and Zonal Level English day winners were presented their certificates. Parents Were also present. 11 teachers and 35 students were given certificates. Most special event was we were the 3rd successful computer lab with evillages in down south. This gives motivation to becoming first. We would like to thank Mr.Jayathissa block for his numerous consideration about batuwangala evillage. Also wewould like to be grateful to Miss.Harini from Colombo,Mr.Rohitha from Practical action, Mrs.Romola and her team from ELTU university of Kelaniya,Mr.Ananda from Newzeland, And every one who gave their fullest support to the batuwangala evillage.

We would like to thank every one who contribute towards our electricity bills. villagers do visit to see the news paper in the computer lab. We were hit by the lighting and now we are fully under covered. We would like to Thank Mr.Kandambi, Sri Lanka telecom, Galle who was very much helped us.

Villages are now some what native with the computers. Before it was Difficult to gather them to the Lab. But now they are willing to use computers.A special program to introduce computers to them was launched.We
visited them by where they work and they were very happy to see us in their tea plots.

Special program was to be launched to introduce laptops to the evillage. Mr.Dulip an Insurance company manager sponsored the laptop for the workshop.
